To increase your golf swing speed, you have to first figure out the proper swing speed for stiff shafted clubs. There are actually many factors that are involved with determining the right swing speed for virtually any kind of club. The reality is that most golfers tend to be very generalized.. If you’re using an iron, you’ll want to swing speed for stiff shafted clubs at about four hundredths of a second per pull.
What happens here is that the shaft flex is altered so that it can more easily produce a ball flight path that has more distance. For example, a shaft with a lower degree of flex will provide you with a more forgiving ball flight (great for beginners) while at the same time increasing your swing speed. If you’re using a stiff shaft with a higher degree of flex (a shaft which has less than forty percent bend), the increased swing speed is going to come from your kick point. Basically this means that you must place your center of gravity somewhere different on your body in order to produce a more accurate trajectory.
Remember that most drivers are designed with stiff shafts as well. In order to get the best distance on these balls, the face of the club must be set up with the correct loft angle. If the face of the club is pointing to the sky and the ball flight is off the mark, it’s very difficult to achieve good distance. This is where a stiff shaft comes into play.
While shafts made of steel are certainly more forgiving than their steel counterparts, they also offer golfers a much shorter learning curve. With stiff shafts, the golfer has to spend some time getting used to his new swing speed and loft angle. The other drawback of flex is that it can cause injury if not done right. Golfers who swing using this type of equipment run the risk of twisting or straining their backs, shoulders or even their wrists. For this reason, only people who know what they’re doing should experiment with this equipment.
Another version of shaft called senior flex offers an increased swing speed but sacrifices distance. It’s designed for experienced players who have already developed the habit of good weight distribution and good swing mechanics. Senior flex is often used for drills and exercises which test these abilities. If used properly, senior flex can give even the most stiff golfer the ability to make longer and straighter swings. While the added swing speed isn’t much, many feel that it’s worth the sacrifice of losing some distance.
The bottom line: it all depends on what you want from your swing. Even if you’ve injured your wrists and need to develop a more powerful swing, it doesn’t mean you can’t swing as fast as you want. All it really means is that you have to know what swing speed is needed for you, as well as how you’re going to be able to move the club faster. By taking the time to learn the difference between regular and senior flex, you’ll find the path to improved golfing starts today! Good luck with your game!

There is something so delightful about watching a young couple swinging away on what looks to be a very simple, yet challenging (and fun) Fred Couples swing sequence. In watching these videos it almost seems like they are having the time of their lives. And that is because they are… and because they have a lot of fun while doing it! Why? Because the Couples swing technique is based on the tried and true methods of many top professional golfers of past and present.
The main dynamic driving component of the golf swing concept is the “virtual gate” element of the swing. Simply put, the virtual gate is the point in your golf setup where you make a complete 180-degree turn to face your target. You use the entire body as a tool to get the ball into this spot and then complete your downswing. As you move closer to the ball, the golf swing gets more difficult because you have to use all the muscles in your body to get the ball through the hole.
The first couple of elements of the golf swing concept involve the “sweep-thru-impact phase”. In this phase, the Couples swing motion is very smooth. It’s not unusual for a Couple to finish their swing motion in a smoother motion than they started the motion. While the Couples might finish their downswing too high or too low, there is really not a way to correct that at this point. It is very important not to make that adjustment in the middle of the downswing.
The second phase of the Couples swing is the “catch and go” motion. As the Couples near the ball, they will begin to lift their club up off the ground. As they do this, they will be opening their shoulder and club ahead of their body. When the Couple wants to bring their club back in, they must come up on the top of the swing and come down on the swing. This requires flexibility from the Couple, but it can also cause some unnatural movement.
Another way to describe the sweep-thru-impact of the Couples swing is the high arch of the swing. The high arch begins at the bottom of the body and moves upwards towards the upper body. When the Couple finishes their swing and they are in a position where they are lifting their club up over their head, they are in a high arch position. The high arch can lead to problems because the body will attempt to shift forward. This can lead to an impact on the ball, but most players won’t realize it’s happening.
If the above descriptions of the Couples swing don’t sound right, it may be time to look deeper into the swing. Many professional golfers have transformed their swings, and you can too! Just keep in mind that the Couples swing is not meant to be rocket science. Like most golfers, if you can master your basic golf swings, you’ll eventually progress to further golf techniques.

For the beginner, club head speed simply is the speed at which you strike the ball with the club head. For every man you swing the club more, the club head speed increases. In essence then, club head speed relates to the power of your swing. This is what determines the distance that a golf club will travel. Basically, the faster you hit the ball, the farther the ball goes.
The most common problem that most golfers experience is that they are not swinging the club at the proper angle. It is very important that the angle of the swing is correct. If it’s not, the ball has a chance to spin out of control and go in a different direction. The majority of beginner golfers are simply doing too much in the backswing. What happens is that most of their strength and power is transferred from the backswing to when they are actually swinging the club head.
As golfers begin to understand the concepts to hit the ball properly and having the proper setup, clubhead speed usually increases. The first thing that changes from beginner to intermediate level is that they begin to focus on generating torque. It is this change that causes an athlete or golfer to gain more power as the clubhead speed builds. In order to accomplish this, a golfer needs to build on strength and improve their body movement. In most cases, the golfer will focus on generating more torque from their lower body so that they can transfer that power through their arms and into the clubhead.
There are many exercises that can be done at home to increase the strength in your legs and back that will improve the overall power that you are using in your swing. For example, if you have limited strength in your legs, you should do a dead lift. As a golfer progresses through the ranks, they can add more weight by doing more sets to their dead lifts.
There are many people who question the ability to increase club head speed as they age. This is especially true for golfers who are typically active during the summer months. Unfortunately, there are not many solutions other than to take away the extra equipment such as the umbrella. You can still achieve the same results that you would have done at a high handicap rate without the extra weight. If you are trying to get faster on the course and want to use golf specific training aids, be sure to look at them carefully before making your purchase. The average club head speeds for professional golfers may not be what you need to shoot lower scores.
As a golfer advances through their careers, they will see that they are able to improve their game by working on different elements of their game. This is why it is so important to set a goal for yourself as a golfer and work hard to meet that goal. By knowing what you want to accomplish as a golfer, along with finding the best ways to reach your goals, you will be well on your way to reaching your potential. As you progress through your career on the course, you will notice that you will be able to hit longer drives, hit longer shots, hit more draws, and hit more putts.

The single plane, or moe, model of the golf swing has been around for awhile now, but the moe model is really starting to catch on with people like Todd Graves and Tim O’Brien. It has been known that Tiger Woods uses the moe model as well. The reason why I like it so much is because you can easily see the flaws in the normal golf swing that are easily seen and corrected by using moe. In this review I am going to show you the moe model and what advantages it has over the normal swing.
The single plane moe video play better golf than the Moe Norman swing by Tim O’Brien and todd graves. It all started when tim found a swing discrepancy in ben hugogan’s swing. He was also losing some weight and decided to walk instead of ride his golf cart. While watching the video, he noticed that there was an angle at which his left wrist bent at an odd angle and his shoulders didn’t move as they should have while swinging the club.
The problem is that you cannot correct this natural bend at the wrist and shoulders out of your swing. You have to fix it in your body. This is where the moe swing helps. The more swing simulates the swing of a professional golfer. Tiger Woods is one professional who uses the moe model on a consistent basis.
The single plane model of golf swings has been around for quite some time. I was actually using the single plane swing when I was just starting out and I was winning. The one issue I had with the normal swing was that I could not keep my wrists from locking at the wrong times. My golf game suffered greatly because of this little problem.
I tried the wing model and was pretty happy with it. The only problem was that it gave me the same feel as the swing I used on the range. I still found that my wrists were locking at different times. I did not have the problems with my shoulder plane problem like the normal swingers did, but the results were not very good. I did eventually work out how to get the proper feel for the wing plane model and was able to get rid of my locking wrist problems and start winning.
So while the Normans have created a myth, the more normal swing is not a myth. It can be very useful to use the moe model as a way to mimic the swing of a professional golfer, especially if you are new to the game or are trying to improve your game. You will be doing yourself a favor by adopting the moe model as opposed to the wing or single plane model.

Golf irons help to enhance your golf game. They are used to increase your golf club head speed, and give you better control over the ball. With the correct golf irons, you can easily improve your golf swing. You should concentrate on your core strength, hand strength, wrist support, grip strength and of course ball speed.
Your core strength is where your body starts everything off. The muscles in your lower body and hips work together to make your downswing and follow through happen. It is important to have strong muscles to get a powerful golf iron swing. To do this, you must have a firm grip on the club so that you do not lose momentum when you are swinging the club. Also, a firm, long and straight back will help to keep your hips in line with the rest of your body.
Many golfers that hit their drives into the green with power but inconsistent distance often use an under-the-chin hit. This is achieved by placing your hands below the left ear and using the palms of your hands to hit the club. The other option is to place the hands under your left ear and hit the clubhead low. However, it has been found that using these two options for hitting golf iron shots is not effective as it causes the club head to move to far away on the downward swing.
When you are hitting golf iron shots, the chances are that you will be moving your club head from a very short distance. To achieve greater distance and a better shot, you should focus on keeping your clubface square to the ball and hitting the ball close to the target. If you hit the ball too far away or close to the target, you are likely to lose control of the ball and will have to attempt another swing to correct the mistake.
It is important for you to have the proper stance when you are hitting the golf ball with your irons. You must have your feet slightly wide apart from each other, knees slightly bent, back straight and stomach in. If you don’t have the proper stance when you are hitting the ball, it can cause you to make compensations in order to keep your clubface square to the ball. As a result, your golf iron shots are likely to travel too far away and they will lack the distance and accuracy that you desire. In addition to having a proper stance, you must also have a good backswing and downswing. Both of these require your body to rotate correctly.
One method golfers use to make their swings more effective and to help them shift pressure off of their hands is to perform what is known as a trail foot drill. This drill requires you to stand in the golf course with your ball in your hand. Instead of swinging, you simply walk forward with your clubhead parallel to the ground. This will help you focus on creating lag in your golf swings.
